Thank you for visiting Yoga and Ayurveda
Everything is energy and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of that Reality you want and you cannot help but get that Reality.
It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.

VIBRATION AND FREQUENCY THROUGH MANTRA
Mantras are a big part of Yoga and Ayurveda they work on a vibrational and collectively historic level, rather than a level of comprehension. They utilize the sacred quality of vibration, which connects all things in this universe into one massive living matrix.
Practicing Mantras regularly will transform you and it will be lifechanging!
MANTRA DESCRIPTION AND ORIGIN
MANTRAS are unique mystical formulas of sacred syllables, which were originally revealed to the Rishis (seers or sages) thousands of years ago in the deepest states of meditation. Some mantras are derived directly from the oldest scriptures such as the Vedas and the Upanishads. Mantras are energy and chakra based sounds, and have only an approximate language translation.
***
Some are 5000 years old some much older they have been handed down a from generation to generation. First they where only delivered orally, with the advent of writing there where written down on leaves, but originally protected by the rishis and sages due to their power. The same Mantras are still being practiced in India and Tibet to this day. Through the love and devotion of the Yogis, Swamis and Gurus they came to the West and are now readily available to be used for manifestation of your dreams and the healing of the body, mind and soul.
***
MANTRAS, chanted in sacred Sanskrit are ancient, highly mathematical, highly effective and powerful because Sanskrit is considered by some linguists to be the “perfect language,” as it's correct pronunciation evokes a unique vibration in the Universe and within yourself, placing into motion whatever you are trying to manifest through your mantra. They have been chanted millions upon millions of times by millions upon millions of people. This collective chanting over the ages has given an extremely strong vibration and power to this sounds.
***
MANTRA derives from the Sanskrit word "manas" meaning mind and "tra" as in transcendence. So one can say, it is the language of the mind to transcend the mind.
***
MANTRA is a word or series of words chanted aloud or silently to invoke a precise power, that can be used for very specific purposes such as spiritual development, the healing of diseases or for the attainment of worldly desires. When combined with the user’s intention, mantras can become even more targeted and empowered. Adding the vibration of musical notes is believed to intensify their power. They are said to protect and sooth the body, mind and soul.
On a mental level, they work "similar to affirmations" on one’s own higher consciousness and divinity, which can work to replace limiting beliefs that do not serve ones highest good. However, they reach far deeper into the core of existence due to the nature of the Sanskrit language.
On a physical level, the repetition of mantras has multiple effects: The actual movements of one’s tongue activates specific meridian points on the roof of the mouth creating energetic patterns in the body that stimulate the chakras, meridians and higher spiritual and energetic centers. The vibration of the words and sounds also affects the body in similar ways. The 50 letters of the Sanskrit alphabet correlate with the 50 petals of our chakra system. Mantra is believed to help relieve stress and anxiety, promote circulation, improve concentration, and bridge the gap between mind and body.
On a spiritual level, the repetition of sacred mantras helps one to remember and strengthen their connection to the divine within. It soothes the mind and body, allowing for a greater expression of spirit. Mantras can tame and disarm the ego, which frequently impedes us from accessing our true spiritual nature at any given moment.

“Mantra is part of a great yogic technology for unfolding the higher powers both of our own core awareness and of the vast universe of consciousness. Through mantra we can gain access to and mastery over the forces of Nature, like the five great elements, and the very well-springs of creation itself. We can understand our own inner being through mantra and go beyond the ego and its limitations. Through mantra we can communicate with subtler regions beyond this dense physical realm and learn to ascend the ladder of the worlds to the Absolute beyond all manifestation.”

"To share Vedic Chants is to share an experience of silence through listening, a process of healing and a link with nature, the deeper self and the divine."
TKV Desikachar
“The major insight behind the Yoga of Sound is that reality consists of vibration, which in essence is sound. Even the formless silent Absolute has its own vibration of Shabda (sound) but remains contained in itself. By going back to the reality of primal sound, we can return to the very heart of creation and reach the Absolute beyond time and space from which all creation arises. We can reach the state of silence of pure stillness that is total communication and complete unity.”
Dr. David Frawley
“The mantra is not just about speaking but about listening. Unless one can listen to the spirit of the mantra, the mantra cannot reveal its secrets to us. It is a mantra revealed in the state of awakened listening, which reveals the essence of truth.
