  • Focus on Warmth: Use blankets or layers of clothing to keep your body warm during your practice. Consider practicing in a warm room to counteract Vata’s cold nature.  
  • Slow and Steady: Perform poses slowly and with mindful breathing, avoiding any jerky or fast movements

  • Empherzise on energizing movement: To harmonize Kapha it is beneficial to engage in invigorating, warming, and stimulating yoga poses.
  • Incorporate sequences that generate heat and stimulate energy flow. ​
  • Flowing Sequences: Practice styles such as Sunsalutations (Surya Namaskar), Vinyasa or Ashtanga
